Meet Bang Quach, DMD, MD Dr. Bang Quach, DMD, MD, is a highly trained, board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at P3, with advanced expertise in facial reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. Originally from Vietnam, he moved to the United States in 2003 and was raised in Chicago. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he also volunteered at the UIC Cleft and Craniofacial Center—an experience that sparked his passion for oral and facial reconstructive surgery.Education And ResidencyDr. Quach received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 2017. He went on to complete a six-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, during which he also earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. Following residency, Dr. Quach pursued specialized fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Clevens Face and Body Specialists. There, he gained extensive experience in facial rejuvenation, skin cancer care, MOHS reconstruction, rhinoplasty, brow and eyelid surgery, otoplasty, facial feminization surgery, and both surgical and non-surgical aesthetic techniques. At P3, Dr. Quach provides full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery and is based in the Beckley office. His daily practice includes treating a wide range of patients, including those from underserved communities, many of whom require complex restorative care. In addition to oral surgery, he is preparing to offer facial cosmetic services as part of P3’s expanding care model. Dr. Quach is a member of several national professional organizations in oral and maxillofacial and facial cosmetic surgery. He has a strong interest in global health and has participated in cleft lip and palate mission trips to Vietnam. He is passionate about returning to this work and hopes to one day establish his own nonprofit foundation focused on pediatric cleft care. InterestsOutside of the operating room, Dr. Quach enjoys spending time with his wife, Thy, and their three cats. They love exploring new restaurants and traveling. His personal interests include working out, playing the piano, building computers, and 3D printing. |
