Meet John Brock, DDS"We give every part of ourselves to our patients to ensure that our patients have the best outcomes from surgical procedures."Dr. Brock is a native of West Virginia, graduating from North Marion High School, and is excited to practice here in his home state. He has always had a passion for oral and facial surgery, and proudly offers a wide range of services to his patients. Dr. Brock takes the time to get to know his patients so they feel comfortable while under his care. His unique training and surgical background qualifies him to treat all facial conditions, and he loves practicing in his home state! Education and residencyAfter completing his undergraduate studies, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University. Dr. Brock went on to attend the University of Florida, where he completed a one-year general surgery internship and a formal surgical residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery. A one-year anesthesia fellowship was completed at Ruby Memorial Hospital at West Virginia University in Morgantown. His extensive training allows him to practice the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including laser surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, treatment and reconstruction of severe facial injuries and deformities and surgery to correct congenital facial deformities. Certifications and InvolvementFollowing his residency, Dr. Brock served in the United States Army as Chief of Maxillofacial Surgery at Bassett Army Hospital in Fort Wainwright, Alaska. He also served as Commander of the 53rd Head and Neck Surgical Team deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Dr. Brock served in the Army for five years, completing his military service with the rank of Major. Dr. Brock is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Society of Dental Implantology, the American Society of Cosmetic Physicians, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He is also certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Laser Surgery.
