Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Dr. Ravelo was inspired by his father, an accomplished oral surgeon and the first Venezuelan fellow at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. After earning his dental degree from Santa María University in 2003, he completed advanced cleft lip and palate training at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and further honed his skills in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Ravelo has performed hundreds of life-changing surgeries for underserved communities through charitable initiatives across Mexico, Palestine, and beyond. His humanitarian work includes providing free cleft lip and palate surgeries to children in need, often completing up to 100 surgeries in just three days as part of mission trips. Since moving to Charleston, West Virginia, Dr. Ravelo became a partner at P3 Partners and Mountain State Oral and Facial Surgery. He is committed to providing ethical care, always treating patients like family and prioritizing the highest standards of care over financial concerns. Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Ravelo is an international speaker and thought leader.
